The Texas Association of Benefit Administrators hosts two events annually, a Spring Conference and a Fall Conference, as well as an annual membership meeting.
Spring and Fall Conferences
Both of our conferences are multi-day events (usually two days) and feature multiple speakers and multiple hours of CE on timely topics relevant to TABA members. Normally, these events take place in person, though the last two events have been virtual due to the pandemic.
The conferences also feature an exhibit hall (or, recently, a virtual exhibit hall) where attendees can learn about vendors that can help their clients and make their business more successful. TABA also offers various levels of sponsorships that associates can purchase.
When it’s safe to meet in person, we normally have our spring conference in Austin in odd years when the Legislature is in session. We make a trip to the Capital to visit with members to introduce them to TABA , the Self- Funding Industry, and to the issues we support or oppose.
Our 2021 Spring Conference was held virtually March 26-27, 2021. A date for our 2021 Fall Conference has not yet been announced. You can visit the Spring Conference website here: http://tabaconference.com
Annual Membership Meeting
In addition to the twice-a-year conferences, TABA also has an annual membership meeting where we handle association business and vote on important issues and elect board members for the positions with expiring terms.. Normally, the membership meeting coincides with one of our two conferences, but our 2020 membership meeting was held virtually on a different day. We ask that at least one person from each TABA member company attends the membership meeting to help us ensure a quorum.
THANK YOU to Our Spring 2022 Conference Sponsors!
TABA would like to thank all of our great sponsors for supporting the Spring Conference. Our Sponsor Partners make our conferences possible – their support enables us to bring you topics and forus for learning and open discussion at a fair, affordable price. We couldn’t do it without them. Please be sure to visit their websites and learn how they can help your business succeed.
